The Guide to reporting drug shortages and discontinuations is intended for those who hold a drug authorization issued by Health Canada.  In this guide, you will find information that will help you comply with sections C.01.014.8 to C.01.014.12 of the Food and Drug Regulations. This guide will help you understand how to:

• Report drug shortages and discontinuations, and
• Notify Health Canada when twelve months have elapsed since you last sold the drug.
